Host Steve Beverly with the Jukebox Jury![]()

Created by Steve Beverly, I've Heard That Song! is a musical trivia quiz combined with live karaoke performances of classic hits in a race for a cash jackpot.
Host Beverly handles a "jukebox jury" of four wackos answering musical trivia questions and two contestants will attempt to determine if the panelists' answers are right or wrong.
PLAYING THE HITS, in which a two-minute song is performed.
The four panelists are each asked a different question
relating to the song, its composer, or the genre of music,
or perhaps the category of its lyrics ("My Special Angel,"
i.e., could trigger a series of questions about songs with
the word "angel"). The contestants have to determine if
the panel is right or wrong for five points apiece.
WORDS AND MUSIC, where the questions are strictly about
song lyrics with each question worth five points.
TUNE TUNNEL, where the questions are similar to round one
(after another 2-minute musical performance). The questions
here are worth 10 points. The player with the highest
score after this round wins the game and goes to....
THE MAGIC MEDLEY, where a player must either identify five of a
possible seven songs, or answer a specific musical trivia
question based on the songs, after a series of clues
on specific tune topics. A player may not pass (a pass
is equal to a strike). Three strikes and a player is out
but if the contestant identifies five of seven, he or she
breaks the cash jackpot.
Featured panelists on upcoming shows include therapist/social work professor Diana Rowan, First American executive Pat Carrington, former Union University basketball star Kasi Knott, business administrative assistant and music genius Judy Leforgee, game show veteran Kina Mallard (the Kitty Carlisle of Jackson television), Union University basketball radio broadcaster Gerry Neese, journalism professor Janice Wood (the Arlene Francis of Jackson television) and America's #1 musical expert, Howard Newell.
Producer: Jennifer Cates. Director: Kevin S. Trowbridge. Announcer: Wayne Johnson. Audio and Executive in Charge of Production: Julian Williamson. Theme: "I've Heard That Song Before," by Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme.
